Just a quick Question (not a complaint

Does Everyone remember the 1st video of nightfall? The one were it starts off as the Camera pushes open the door? Well If you watch it, you see the emperor of Cantha on some docks. What ever happened to these docks? and what happened to that whole scene?

I am guessing it was removed. Plenty of stuff doesn't make it into the final game. In fact in Prophecies there are a few things that hint at stuff that was removed, and now look a bit out of place.

Hmm weird.. I thought the last thing they would remove was content.

The area is still there, just in a bit different context... it's the Gandara Moon Fortress.

There are movie trailers that contain scenes that are removed from released movie.

Development (look at credits to see how many people are involved) is a complex, parallel and highly non-linear task. Trailers are something that's completely on the side-line, and commonly include removed or changed content.

Why remove content? Would you rather have a game with trailer that's consistent and features broken content, or a game that was improved after issues, art, performance, design or concepts were adjusted?

They did not remove content. As I several other people speculated, the Emperor and various other people that had been in that trailer were merely placeholder models for character models they had not yet completed and added into the town.
I loved being told I was an idiot in those treads which appeared with all this wild speculation about how the Canthan Emperor was going to come to Elona and be a henchmen only to be right later one.
